Dr. Brower has practiced in the area since 1987. He is a graduate of Depauw University. At Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, he received recognition as the outstanding student in his graduating class in the field of Ophthalmology, and was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi academic honor society.
His Ophthalmology residency was served at the Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center/University of Chicago combined program. In 1988 , Dr. Brower was board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has had articles published in “Archives of Ophthalmology” and “The Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery”, both internationally distributed journals. He is a member of several medical societies including the Wisconsin State Medical Society, Walworth County Medical Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Refractive Surgery Interest Group of the AAO, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Brower is on staff at Lakeland Medical Center where he has served as chairman of the department of surgery and president of the medical staff. He is also on active staff at Burlington Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Brower and his wife, Cindy have three children – Ryan, Daniel, and Rebecca. Dr. and Mrs Brower have been active in several local civic organizations. As a family, they enjoy boating, fishing, snowmobiling, soccer, and snow skiing. The family is active in their local Catholic Church.
